Berlin Meeting - Résumé
The fall annual meeting of OsEAN took place on 16th & 17th November in Berlin at the OSD building right before the days of their famous congress.
22 OsEAN representatives from 18 member schools were present which made the meeting very lively, productive, full of ideas and discussions.
Important decisions about the board members of the association, its membership fees and the bylaws were made. We are glad to welcome Charles Bruford as the newest member of the board.
The members worked on OsEAN’s vision, mission and on the strategies how to achieve our goals in the next 3 years. The audit process was explained step by step and a lot of questions about it were answered by the main auditor Jöry Pauwels (FICO principal), you can download the presentation here (please log in first). Members were reminded of some of OsEAN's already existing projects such as the Examiner Exchange which is financially supported by OsEAN, Teacher Training which already had some trial runs and is now ready to kick off in May 2017, the Student Exchange – some schools representatives were proud to announce that they use the programme a lot and they have send out and welcomed more than 60 students in the past years.
News about the schools and also about the recognition of the osteopathy profession in some European countries was shared.
This was a very productive meeting and we were very happy to see so many of you.
