🎉 10th “Open Forum for Osteopathic Education” Conference
The upcoming Open Forum 2026 marks a special milestone — the 10th edition of the “Open Forum for Osteopathic Education” conference. This year’s theme, “Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Osteopathy: opportunities & threats,” invites us to explore how AI is reshaping our profession, our classrooms, and our research.
Over the past few years, AI has dramatically transformed many areas of business and education. It holds great potential to also influence osteopathic education and clinical practice — bringing both exciting possibilities and important challenges.
We warmly invite you to submit your abstract on research or best practice related to the theme. Submissions can focus on one of the following areas:

- Differential diagnostics
- Creating research summaries
- Critical appraisal of AI-generated results

- Sensible and controlled use of AI in assignments
- Detection of AI use in essays, theses, etc.

- Reviewing and synthesizing the literature for teaching
- Preparing new topics or lectures
- Finding or creating illustrations and videos

- Writing exam questions (and multiple-choice answers)
